Er. Ananta Raj Shrestha, a dynamic and forward-looking public servant, joined the Civil Service of Nepal in the year 2080 B.S. as a Computer Engineer. With a strong academic and technical background in Information and Communication Technology, he has been contributing to the digital transformation of the Government of Nepal, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and digital governance. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Engineering (specialization in Network and Cyber Security) from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Er. Shrestha is deeply committed to strengthening national cyber resilience. His academic pursuits complement his official responsibilities, allowing him to integrate cutting-edge knowledge with real-world applications in government operations. Er. Shrestha’s core competencies include secure network design, incident response, public sector digitization, data privacy, and the implementation of security policies aligned with international standards. His dedication to secure digital transformation has been evident through his work in supporting government entities with secure email systems, domain registration for public agencies, and secure information handling practices. In addition to his official responsibilities, Er. Shrestha actively shares his knowledge through blogs and publications aimed at raising awareness among civil servants and the broader tech community. He has written practical guides such as "Official Email Usage Guide for Nepal Government Employees" and "How to Get a Free .gov.np Domain in Nepal," both of which have been widely appreciated in the Nepali tech governance space. He envisions a digitally empowered and cyber-secure Nepal, where public service delivery is efficient, inclusive, and resilient against emerging digital threats.
